Rampsight Accessibility reads the public pages of your site in a real browser and lists the WCAG 2.2 failures it finds, with a 0 to 100 score and how to fix each one. The free check needs no account. A plan adds weekly scans, an alert when something regresses, and the hosted accessibility statement the European Accessibility Act expects a shop or service to publish.

What the plugin does
Two modes, one screen under Tools → Accessibility. Nothing runs in the background, and nothing is sent anywhere until an administrator clicks.
A free check, no account
Click "Check this site" and the plugin sends the public address of your site to Rampsight, which opens up to 10 pages in a real browser and shows the score, the grade and the failures in wp-admin. The result stays at an unguessable link for 30 days.
Weekly monitoring on a plan
Connect the plugin with an API key and Rampsight re-scans up to 100 pages (Basic) or 300 pages (Pro) every week. The latest scan and its failures appear in wp-admin, and a regression sends you an email.
The accessibility statement, hosted
Write the statement in the Rampsight dashboard in English, German, French or Portuguese. We host it at a public link you put in your footer — the document the European Accessibility Act expects, and the one an overlay never gives you.
No overlay, nothing injected
The plugin does not change your site. It reads results and shows them in wp-admin; fixes happen in your theme, plugins and content, and every rule links to a plain-language page on how to fix it.
Findings you can act on
Each failure names the page, the element and the rule, ranked by how much the fix improves the score. A missing label on one form partial usually clears dozens of elements at once.
Monitoring, not a certification
Automated checks find many accessibility failures, never all of them. Rampsight never claims a site is compliant; it clears the machine-detectable layer every week so a human review is spent where only a human can judge. What the scanner checks.

Create your account
One account for one site, 14 days free and no credit card. Your name or company is what appears on the accessibility statement.

Add your site
Enter the public address of your site and let the first scan run. It usually finishes within a couple of minutes and gives you the first score.

Create an API key
In the Rampsight dashboard, Settings → API → New key. The key is shown once; copy it.

Paste it in the plugin
Tools → Accessibility → Connect. The plugin finds your site by its address and shows the latest scan, the failures with fix guidance, and a button to run a scan now.

Getting the plugin
Rampsight Accessibility is on its way to the WordPress.org plugin directory. Once it is listed, you install it from Plugins → Add New by searching for “Rampsight”. Until then, write to support@rampsight.com and we send you the plugin zip to upload under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
It needs WordPress 6.4 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer. The plugin talks to rampsight.com over HTTPS, stores only the API key in your site’s options, and is released under the GPL.
Questions that come up
- Does the free check need an account?
No. It sends only the public address of your site, and the result lives at an unguessable link on rampsight.com for 30 days. Up to 10 pages are checked.
- Does the plugin change my site?
No. It reads results and shows them in wp-admin. Fixing a failure is done in your theme, plugins or content — each rule links to a page that explains what to change.
- Is my site compliant once the score is high?
No tool can promise that. Automated testing covers a part of WCAG; the rest — keyboard flow, screen-reader experience, plain language — needs a person. The score tells you how much of the detectable part is fixed. Why not an overlay.
- My site is bigger, or I look after several sites.
The single-site plans stop at 300 pages per scan and one site. Agency plans start at ten sites, with white-label reports, seats for a team and a client-facing report domain — see the pricing page.
- What happens after the trial?
The account goes read-only after 14 days until you pick Basic or Pro on the billing page. Nothing is charged automatically, and there is no card on file during the trial.
- Which WordPress versions?
WordPress 6.4 or newer, PHP 7.4 or newer, single site or multisite network admin. WooCommerce shops are ordinary WordPress sites to the scanner: product pages, cart and checkout are crawled like any other public page a visitor can reach.
